​​​​Dear friends of Saint-Joseph du Bessillon,

                           Every year, we are committed to carrying out maintenance, repair and even renovation work on part of the monastery. By God’s grace and thanks to your generosity, we were able to renovate the chaplain’s house in 2025, and we thank you for that.

​

It is now THE MONASTIC GUEST HOUSE

that is due for major refurbishment in 2026.

​

The premises adjoining the chapel and the Saint-Joseph fountain have not been renovated since the 1970s. We wish to bring the electrical system up to standard and replace the 20 windows to improve insulation and achieve significant savings on heating costs. Furthermore, the interior will be completely remodeled to better suit the needs of guests and the community: the creation of a laundry room and additional showers, and the refurbishment of the existing bathrooms and kitchen.

The total budget for the works is estimated at €245,000.

The association can cover a fifth of these costs itself (€50,000).

For the remainder, we ask for the generosity of all those who care about our community and the Bessillon.

 

We are therefore currently seeking €195,000 to fund this work.
